1. We start with the Half a Minute
quiz (41). This has numbered clues to the
anagrams. The pupils need the numbers as well as the solution. We must
put the words into numbered order 1 - 11 to read the message from
GeogOnline. |
|
| |
2. This takes us to the Interactive
diagram (iDG) (40). There is a Mission
Impossible / GeogOnline
logo (bottom left) which hyperlinks to the Power Point briefing. |
|
| |
3. The PowerPoint Briefing (otherwise
hidden; but also available in the Y8 Alaska section) briefs all about
ANWR. The Mission (assignment for pupils) is at the end and there are
reference hyperlinks to other websites not just
GeogOnline.
The Mission is 'Drill or No Drill?' |
|
| |
4. Bottom Right of iDG is the
hyperlink 'Oil Bowl final Live on
GeogOnline)
which takes us to a Mission Improbable (silly page) proposing a penalty
Shoot Out to settle the issue. There is a button 'kick off' to start the
penalty shoot out. |
|
| |
5. The iDG is central as
it can also be the writing frame for the pupil task (Mission) - I am
allowing pupils to submit any medium - report, PowerPoint or Movie etc.)
as befits GeogOnline |
|
| |
6. There is the Mission
Impossible 4 Movie from
GeogOnline
in Sound and Vision.which
gives different viewpoints from different stakeholders local, national
and international. |
|
| |
7. The match up quiz is a good
resource for giving viewpoints for and against 'drilling. Free from
GeogOnline |
|
| |
8. I may add a Grade or no Grade game
to finish off? |
|
| |
If you try it -
let me know [email
] what you think! |
|
| |
9. I'm off to rest now (hibernate). I
hope there is no 'offence' caused and any errors are my fault. Sorry! |
|
| |
10. Best Wishes
