Agricultural improvements have taken place including fenced
enclosures, local drainage, fertiliser application, dune
flattening, planting shelterbelts, bracken eradication, and
reseeding. There has been an increase in the levels of grazing,
fro 200 sheep all year , [stocking density 0.6/hectare] together
with 50 bullocks in the winter, to 300 sheep [stocking density
1.3/hectare] with 400 cattle. |
